· It reduces the amount of money the government has for public services and works, like building schools, roads and hospitals.
· It weakens people’s trust and confidence in the government.
· It discourages businesses from operating, which makes the country poorer in the end.
- Everyone, even you, can help eradicate corruption by choosing not to give or receive bribes, choosing to achieve things through hard work and honesty, and speaking out when you see corruption around you.
