"On Foot" HIV/AIDS Public Campaign in Thailand

Thailand has been widely hailed as one of the success stories in the response to AIDS. By 2003, estimated national adult HIV prevalence had dropped to its lowest level ever, approximately 1.5%, according to the latest UNAIDS/WHO report on the global AIDS epidemic. But for these numbers to stay low, constant public awareness campaign is needed.

To commemorate World AIDS Day, 45 students from local universities in Bangkok and World Bank staff organized the "On Foot" campaign to rally for public awareness.
