Mongolia’s Street Children

This grant also helped renovate dormitories in an old detention home, which is now used as an overnight shelter for street children. The center has a new kitchen, clean beds, new roofing, walls, windows and doors, as well as new electrical and plumbing fixtures. There are vocational training rooms, including refurbished computers, to help teenagers develope a trade and acquire livelihood skills.
