In workshops, the students reflected on links between development and social justice.

In the Fighting HIV/AIDS workshop youth activist Justin Ng engaged his group to think about the connections between the disease and poverty, using case studies from developing countries and bringing the issues to life through role-playing.

Other workshops focused on peace and conflict, art for social change (exploring issues in child labor through forum theatre), gender equality, achieving the Millennium Development Goals, human rights and social justice, and youth activism.
