What does this mean:
Make sure that all people have basic things they need to live. This means that people have enough nutritious food to eat, clean water to drink, clothes to wear, a home to live in, schools for their children, and health care.

Why:
There are still many people in the world who are so poor that they often don’t have enough to eat each day and suffer from hunger. People who are extremely poor are people who have less than US$1 a day to live on. There are more than 1 billion people in the world who live on less than US$1 a day.If you live in the United States, imagine what can you buy for $1. Now imagine that in some place in the world, like in many African and Asian countries, a whole family has only that much money to live on.
